中国石化新闻网讯 据普氏能源资讯2月21日耶路撒冷报道，以色列能源和水资源部周四在耶路撒冷表示，以色列石油理事会日前批准了第一份在被占领的戈兰高地钻探石油的许可证并建议把这第一份钻探石油许可证授予Genie能源有限公司。
Genie能源有限公司周三在一份新闻稿中说，以色列将把允许在被占领的戈兰高地钻探石油的第一份许可证授予Genie能源有限公司在以色列的分公司Genie以色列石油和天然气有限公司。
以色列石油理事会是在初步地质测试表明戈兰高地南部蕴藏着相当大的石油潜力以后作出上述决定的。
根据初步的测试，以色列能源和水资源部长乌齐·兰多日前决定把这个地区向油气勘探作业开放。

Israel council approves first license to drill for oil in Golan Heights

Israel's Petroleum Council has approved the first license to drill for oil in the occupied Golan Heights and recommended that it be granted to Genie Energy Ltd., the Energy and Water Ministry said on Thursday.
The license would be granted to Genie Energy's Israeli subsidiary, Genie Israel Oil and Gas Ltd., a Genie Energy press release said Wednesday.
The council's decision follows initial geological tests that indicated a potential for substantial quantities of oil in the southern part of the Golan Heights. On the basis of the initial tests, Israeli Energy and Water Minister Uzi Landau decided to open up the territory for oil and gas exploration.
