Natural Gas Higher on Cold-Weather Forecast
Natural gas prices surged Tuesday, posting their biggest daily gains in over a year as traders bet that a cold spell is just around the corner.
Natural gas for February delivery rose 22 cents, or 6.82%, to $3.444 a million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange--the highest settlement since December 30, 2016.
