Chad's crude oil exported through Cameroon in the first quarter of 2019 rose 25% on year, figures published Friday showed.
Crude oil exported in the period from Chad via Cameroon's Atlantic port town of Kribi stood at 15.1 million barrels, up from 12.1 million barrels a year earlier, said the Pipeline Steering and Monitoring Committee, or PSMC. The PSMC is headquartered in Cameroon's state-run National Hydrocarbons Corp. and monitors the oil exports because it collects royalties on behalf of the Cameroon government.
